Black Coffee
A heist comedy/drama.
Recently laid off RICH is driven to take desperate measures and attempts
to rob his local bank. He fails. Fleeing from the police he takes refuge in a
coffee shop and holds the Customers and Barista hostage. However, he didn't anticipate
them being quite so annoying, judgmental and demanding. Or that two of them are
actually real and dangerous criminals.
The Kitchen
A comedy/drama.
Every year since the death of their ‘Ma’, the six Irish/American Nother
sisters (aged 50-70) get together to have a meal in her memory. Middle sister MOLLY
is always lumbered with hosting the meal, providing the food and keeping the
peace between her ever-quarrelsome siblings - despite no recognition, thanks
help or sympathy for her efforts. But this year, the sisters push Molly too
far, and some uncomfortable truths are revealed.
Abdication
Period/Historical Drama.
CHARLIE works as a valet for young PRINCE EDWARD; Prince of Wales
and soon-to-be King Edward VIII. They are polar opposites; Charlie is straight-laced and a fervent
royalist, whereas Edward is reckless and has an irresponsible attitude towards
his royal duties. However, on the journey through Edward’s ascension to the throne, the
development of his relationship with Wallis Simpson and the scheming of the
government and church to expedite Edward’s removal from the throne, the two men
grow close. All the while, CHARLIE’S persistence for doing things ‘by the book’
has equally destructive consequences on his relationships.

JT heads up a super-secret team of blue-collar government agents who
take on the jobs no other department will touch, and who specialise in making
assassinations look like (often elaborate) accidents. However, with technology
tackling more crimes, their jobs-for-life now don’t look so secure and JT
starts to suspect that rival departments are trying to sabotage the Janitors.
Death in Florida
Comedy.
Grim reaper, MORT, has been promoted to head up the busy Florida
division of the D.M.E - the
Department of Mortality Extraction. However, he is hampered by the fact that he
actually likes humans - far more than he does those holier-than-thou Guardian
Angels. Consequently, he is finding it increasingly hard not to interfere in
the claiming of the souls of those he thinks don’t deserve it, despite the
punishment for interfering being so severe no body dare mention it!
